What IMPACT HOCKEY'S all about!
IMPACT HOCKEY INC., founded in 1998, is the “Brain-Child” of Southern Ontario natives - & brothers, Chris & Tom Kostopoulos.  The company has been operating primarily in the North TX area since its inception and has built a reputation around the coaching staff it employs – quality, experienced, character coaches who care about the instruction they provide and the people they teach.
Recently the company’s reach has expanded to WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA, where IH’s President Chris Kostopoulos now resides during the winter months.
Our goal in “Hockey Training & Development,” is to provide high quality, knowledgeable, cutting edge instruction to players who genuinely wish to improve their individual level of play on the ice – regardless of where they are and where they want to go in hockey.
For the past 10 years, our coaches have worked with players at all levels of competition:
·          National Hockey League,
·         NCAA Division I,
·         Junior A,
·         Midget AAA,
·          All the way to Mite, Squirt & Atom youth players.
·         In one on one instructional settings and also in camp & clinic environments.
Each and every time we step onto the ice, we aim to:
1.       Build a relationship between our coaches and our students where an environment promoting a positive learning experience can flourish.
2.       Teach the "correct skill sets" in a manner that is customized to the specific student receiving the instruction.
3.       Have each student walk away, knowing exactly what they need to do to improve and how to do it.
4.       Promote the love of the game in everyone we work with.
 Chris Kostopoulos:
Currently works as an Assistant Coach at Robert Morris University D-I Men’s Hockey Program.  He is also the co-founder & former Director of Coaches of the Alliance Youth Hockey Association.
David Fry:
Having recently retired from a professional career in hockey, David presently works as an Elite Youth Hockey Coach in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area, with the Alliance Bulldogs & the 2007 TX State Champion Allen Eagles.
Steve Lamere:
Another one of our young, talented coaches, Stevie also coaches in the Dallas-Fort Worth area with the Alliance Bulldogs PW Tier I AAA team.  He is only a few years removed from a playing career at the NCAA level and works tirelessly in all areas of hockey instruction.
Tom Kostopoulos:
Has the rare opportunity to see the game from the top of the international pyramid.  By playing in the National Hockey League with the Montreal Canadiens, he gets a taste of the most prolific philosophies, strategies and developmental programs in the world.

All IH coaches believe very strongly in the impact that a hands-on hockey instructor can have on a player and they insist on being directly involved in every facet of the schools, particularly the on-ice time they invest in each and every one of the students.

Says Chris:
"Success in hockey is a by-product of a strong work ethic, team work, preparation, execution and desire! I take pride in instilling these qualities into my players, and if the pro’s can utilize and display these characteristics on the ice towards a successful product, it motivates all players to do the same.”
